Our 4 days desert trip from Fes to Marrakech itinerary destinations’ overview:

Merzouga desert one of our places will visit in 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech

MERZOUGA DESERT:

In Merzouga desert, there is a world mixed between magic and beauty, it is a quiet beauty that makes you feel that life has many faces, its soft sands give to it more prestige and charm, and its sand dunes are distinctively and made by the wind, that’s what makes these dunes even more wonderful is as if they were a creative artist’s feather. Then, when the sun shines, these rays are reflected in the sand, and it shines as if it is a vast area of beauty, and at sunset, the colours of the sunset are graded to reflect the colours of twilight and mix with its sand and clear sky, and when darkness comes, the sky page appears with the full beauty of its stars and planets.

So as a piece of advice whoever wants to contemplate the beauty of the sky has only to go to the desert, where the clear sky is not polluted by anything.

In our 4 days trip from Fes to Marrakech will stop in Todra gorges

TODRA GORGES:

Canyon of the Todra River, known by its French name: “Gorges du Todra”. An impressive valley, with vertical walls, sometimes with negative slopes, giving the impression that they will collapse at any moment. They are 300 meters high, sculpted in fresh rock, with several springs sprouting from their fractures. The icy water is collected in a stream that flows to feed the oasis and give life to Tinghir, a small town nearby. Although the gorge is located in a marginalized region of Morocco. It is an important tourist destination in the southeast of the Kingdom of Morocco. Also, it is equipped with a dirt road and hiking trails, which visitors can walk on.

Dades gorges panoramic view

DADES GORGES:

It is the mythical road of the Dades valley Surely you have seen it sometime in travel magazines or on television, with those winding curves and its amazing depth … Is there a viewpoint where I can take this cool photo? The answer is YES, travellers, ⁣⁣as you can see if you slide the first photo, you will only have to go up to the Hotel-Restaurant-Cafeteria Tessedrine. We assure you that the climb will be very worthwhile since it has impressive views of the entire valley, ⁣HOW TO GET THERE? You have to take the detour from the N-10 when you reach Boumalne, in the direction of Dades Gorges and travel around 20km of winding road (it is more impressive than dangerous ), passing the famous gorge and following the road in ascent.⁣ The road is narrow, but the restaurant hotel has a free parking area where you can park comfortably.

4 days trip from Fes to Marrakech will let as to visit the Kasbah of ait ben haddou

AIT BEN HADDOU:

Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou is a group of traditional buildings with red clay and stone and It is surrounded by a defensive wall reinforced with towers. Located in the province of Ouarzazate. This palace, with its distinctive architecture, is considered a model of traditional housing in southern Morocco and in the Kasbah, there are 12 families still living there, others they moved to the new village near the Kasbah.

The high atlas Mountains pass

TIZI N’TICHKA:

If I had to make a list of the most beautiful roads I’ve ever driven, the Tizi n’Tichka Pass would certainly be one of them. The two words Tizi and Tichka come from the Tamazight language – whereby Tizi means something like “mountain meadow” and Tichka means “dangerous”. The many curves make the route a bit dangerous … Over the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m altitude) the connecting road N9 leads from Marrakech towards Ouarzazate.
